The Plot area is 7.05 Acres. Construction commenced in Jul 2006 and completed in record time of four months. The roof is made by sandwich sheeting with heat insulation between sheets. Inner ceiling height varies from 12mtrs to 15mtrs. The stadium was Inaugurated by Hon'ble Shri A.P.J. Kalam, The President of India, on 22 Nov 06.
